To access the MySQL / MariaDB server from a remote location please contact our Tech Department. The essential condition for this type of access is to have a static IP allocated by your ISP gor which we will allow you access at the firewall level. MySQL / MariaDB remote access is not possible without a static IP.
Once our Tech Department has allowed access at firewall level you must follow the next steps in cPanel:
- Select "Remote MySQL"
- Enter the domain name or IP in the "Host" field
- Click "Add Host"
- Enter the IP from which the MySQL server will access and press the "Save" button
