- Select the "File" menu and then "Info"
- Click on the "Add Account" button
- Choose "Manual setup or additional server types", then "Next"
- Choose "POP or IMAP", then "Next"
Complete the server connection parameters:
- your name
- email account
- incoming / outgoing: mail.yourdomain.ro (replace with the real name of your domain or with the information provided by HostX)
- the username is the complete email address (eg. [email protected])
- enter the password for the email account
- click "More Settings" if you check "My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication", respectively "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server"
- go to the "Advanced" tab
- for POP without SSL use the standard port - 110
- for POP with SSL replace port with 995
- for SMTP without SSL use the standard port - 25 (or 26 if your ISP blocks access on port 25)
- for SMTP with SSL replace the port with 465
- for IMAP without SSL use the standard port - 143
- for IMAP with SSL replace port with 993
Click "OK", "Next" and "Finish"
