To set up an IMAP email account in IncrediMail follow the steps below:

  • To start the configuration process click on the Tools tab
  • Click on Email Accounts >> Add
  • Click on "Let me configure settings myself"
  • Select Other for the account type
  • Fill in the email address you want to configure and its password
  • Then click on Next
  • Fill in the server settings
  • Select IMAP as server type
  • Fill in the data for both incoming and outgoing server (use mail.domainname.tld - replace domainname.tld with your domain name)
  • Click Next >> OK
  • For the newly configured account go to Properties >> Servers
  • Check "My server requires authentication"
  • Then click on "More Settings"
  • Make sure you have checked "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
  • Click on the "Advanced" tab - from here you can modify the access ports
  • Click on "Close"
