How to configure TheBat!

To configure TheBat! you must follow the steps below (your domain will be replaced by the real name of your domain):

1. Access the "Account" menu
2. Click "New"
3. Enter the name associated with the email account, for internal use only (eg. Mihai Popescu)
4. Enter your name in the "Your full name" field
5. Enter your email address ([email protected]) in the field "Your email"
6. Enter the name of the company/organization you are a part of (optional)
7. Click "Next"
8. On the following page enter the same value at "Incoming mail server address" and "SMTP server address": mail.yourdomain.ro
9. Check "My SMTP server requires authentication for sending email" and click "Next"
10. Enter your email address in the "Username" field ([email protected])
11. Enter the password of your email account in the "Password" field (attention, the server differentiates between upper- and lower-case letters)
12. Click "Next"
13. On the next page click "Finish"

TheBat! has now been configured to download emails from your email account.
