To modify max_execution_time in cPanel we recommend you to follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Go to the Software section >> Select PHP Version
  3. Click on Switch to PHP Options
  4. In the open window click on the number next to max_execution_time
  5. Select from the drop down menu the desired value then click on Apply
  6. Then click Save to save your changes
