Generate key pairs:
- run the command:
keytool -keysize 2048 -genkey -alias tomcat -keyalg RSA -keystore tomcat.keystore- you will be asked for a password; Tomcat uses the default password: changeit
- enter the requested information: name, first name, organization, domain, country, etc.
Generate CSR:
- run the command:
keytool -certreq -keyalg RSA -alias tomcat -file <fisierultau>.csr -keystore tomcat.keystore- enter the keystore password you created previously; if it is correct, the CSR will be generated.
