In order to manually install the concrete5 within a hosting package, it is necessary to follow some steps:
- Download the latest concrete5 version from the official website
- Extract the files from the downloaded archive and upload them via FTP to the location where you want the new website to be installed
- After you have uploaded the files, access the location in the browser; the installation page will be displayed
- Choose the desired language - then click Continue to Installation
- Edit the following fields with the desired data
- From cPanel, go to the Databases -> MySQL Wizard section, add a new database and a MySQL user with full rights to that database
- On the web page where you started the concrete5 installation, fill in the data related to the database (database name, username, password)
- Then choose if you want an empty website or want to be populated with certain items
- Then click Install concrete5
- After the completion of the process you will be notified about the success of the operation.
