How to configure PrestaShop to use memcached?

Memacached works by using cache storage in RAM (the most frequently accessed data, such as call API results, database requests, and more).

After installing Memcached, you need to configure PrestaShop to use it. To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to PrestaShop with administrator data
2. In the menu bar, click ADVANCED PARAMETERS, then click Performance
3. Scroll to the CACHING section
4. At Use cache, click YES
5. In the Caching system section, select Memcached
6. Click Add server. Additional setting fields appear.
7. In the IP Address text box, type 127.0.0.1.
8. In the Port text box, type 11211
9. In the Weight text box, type 1
10. Click Add Server
11. Click Save
