How to manage multiple stores in PrestaShop?

PrestaShop 1.5 and newer versions include the multi-store function. With this feature, you can easily manage multiple stores using the same interface.

This feature can be useful if you have stores in multiple domains or subdomains. Instead of connecting to each store separately to manage it, you can connect to a single interface and work with all stores simultaneously. In addition, you can centralize and share multiple settings between stores (such as inventory) to simplify site administration.

Multi-store activation

To enable the multi-store feature in PrestaShop, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to the Prestashop administration panel using the administrator user access data
2. In the menu bar click PREFERENCES, then General
3. In the Enable Multistore field, click YES
4. Click Save

To view the multi-store settings in the menu bar, click ADVANCED PARAMETERS, and then click Multistore.

After activating the multi-store function, you are ready to create new stores and store groups, configure shared inventory and much more.
