To restore a Pagekit website from a local backup, we recommend that you follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the cPanel administration panel
  2. Navigate to the Database -> PhpMyAdmin section
  3. Identify the database used by the Pagekit
  4. Click the Import button to load the database from the .sql file
  5. Then click the Go button to import the information
  6. With an FTP client (FileZilla, TotalCommander, etc.) log in via FTP to your hosting account
  7. Upload the web site files to the location where Pagekit is installed
  8. Make sure you have the correct information in the config.php file
