How to install a theme in OpenCart?

Installing a theme in OpenCart 2+

Download the theme you want to use. OpenCart themes are compressed in .zip format.

To view available themes, visit http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension&path=1

1. Extract the files from the .zip file to your computer
2. Upload the extracted files to the public_html directory
   - If you installed OpenCart in another directory, choose that directory
   - There can be several directories such as: admin, catalogue, image, system, etc. Make sure you upload them to the root directory of OpenCart
3. Log in to the OpenCart admin panel with administrator rights
4. In the left panel click on the puzzle-like icon, then click on Themes
5. Locate your store, then from the Action column click on Edit
6. In the General section, from the Theme Directory list, select the new theme
7. In the Status list, select Enabled
8. Click Save
