After you have created customer groups in OpenCart you can assign customers to them:

  1. Log in to the OpenCart administration panel
  2. From the menu on the right, go to Customers> Customers
  3. To add a customer to a group, in the upper right corner click on the + icon
  4. Select the desired group and fill in the customer data
  5. From the top right corner click on the Save icon
