- Log in to the Magento administration panel
- From the main menu, navigate to System -> Configuration
- From the menu on the left in the General section, click on the Web
- In the Search Engine Optimization section, Use Web Server Rewrites - select Yes
- In the Frontend - Secure - Use Secure URLs section, select Yes
- Click Save Config
- Clear the cache
