If you want to keep track of the sessions and commands run through PuTTY, you can save session logs:

- in the left window under Session you have the option of Logging - click on it
- on the right side you can now find the options for the log file

-  click on All session output - keep the name for the Log file name in the default putty.log - click on Browse to choose the path where this file will be saved and click Save

- make sure you select the Ask the user every time option and then click Open to start the session
- logs for the following sessions will be saved in putty.log file, in the selected location
