One of the most common ways to send SPAM messages is abuse of unprotected forms.
More specifically, there are dedicated tools that automate the process of replenishing / re-sending a form, thus allowing the sending of thousands of emails (SPAM) within a few minutes.

How can a web form be protected?
  • validating each field in the form adding an action that requires human intervention.
Specifically, it is about recognizing a number / text in an image. Such validation is used in the HostX contact form.
