In case you want to reinstall an application, you will have to remove the initial installation in the first phase to avoid returning some errors caused by the files already existing in the directory where the installation will be made. If you need some data from the initial installation, we recommend that you make a copy of the information in the respective folder.
To uninstall an application through Softaculous:
Log in to cPanel and navigate to the Software - Softaculous App Installer section:
- from the top right, choose Installations
- on the next page a list of all the scripts installed will be displayed
- select the desired script to be deleted and - click on the red X on the right of the installation
- a new window will be opened detailing which elements will be removed; for confirmation you will have to click on the Remove Installation button
To reinstall the application follow the installation steps as for a new application.
