To configure TheBat! you must follow the steps below (your domain will be replaced by the real name of your domain):
- Access the "Account" menu
- Click "New"
- Enter the name associated with the email account, for internal use only (eg. Mihai Popescu)
- Enter your name in the "Your full name" field
- Enter your email address ([email protected]) in the field "Your email"
- Enter the name of the company/organization you are a part of (optional)
- Click "Next"
- On the following page enter the same value at "Incoming mail server address" and "SMTP server address": mail.yourdomain.ro
- Check "My SMTP server requires authentication for sending email" and click "Next"
- Enter your email address in the "Username" field ([email protected])
- Enter the password of your email account in the "Password" field (attention, the server differentiates between upper- and lower-case letters)
- Click "Next"
- On the next page click "Finish"
TheBat! has now been configured to download emails from your email account.
