To increase the security level of cPanel, you can enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) by following the instructions below:

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Install on your smartphone an application that supports this type of authentication - we recommend Google Authenticator
  3. After you have the application installed, in the Security section access Two-Factor Authentication
  4. Start the Google Authenticator application and scan the QR code with your phone
  5. Enter the code generated by the phone in the cPanel window
  6. Then click on Configure Two-Factor Authentication
  7. Follow the configuration steps
