This procedure is intended for HostX clients that use Windows VPS services:

If you choose to use the VPS server without a control panel, you can add, modify or delete domains directly from the SmarterMail administration interface.
1. Log in to the SmarterMail administration interface, using the administration user and its password
2. Once authenticated, you can view the list of existing domains; If you want to add a new domain, press the New button on the top left
3. Fill in the details for the new domain
Name - domain name ex: domain.tld
IP Address - the IP address from which the emails will be sent
Mailing List Username - this is the user used for sending, the default is stServ
Domain Administrator - has more privileges than other users (has access to domain reports and space usage information)
Domain Administrator Password - the administrator password
4. After completing the information in the Options tab, click on the Technical section to make sure the ports are correct. The default ones should work without problems. Make sure you have the Require SMTP Authentication option checked
5. Click on the Features section and activate / deactivate the desired options (calendar, contact, filters, etc.)
6. Click on the Limits section where you can set parameters such as: allocated space, users, aliases, etc.
7. The rest of the parameters are optional - click Save to add the new domain

If you have the SolidCP control panel installed on your server, we recommend adding the domains only from there.
