OpenCart has a Backup/Restore system for your store's database.

  1. Log in to the OpenCart administration panel
  2. Go to System >> Maintenance >> Backup
  3. Select the option you want from the Backup or Restore tabs
  4. To make a backup, select the desired tables and click Export
  5. Save the .sql file to your computer
  6. If you want to restore, click on the Restore tab then click on Import - select the saved sql file of your database and click on Import.
