The Meta Description of your web site is a short description of your site inserted in the headers of the pages of your web site.

It is used by search engines to display a short description of a site or a web page and is displayed in Google searches.

  1. Log in to the Joomla admin panel
  2. From the menu, select System >> Global Configuration
  3. Access the Site tab
  4. Look for the Site Meta Description field in the Metadata Settings section
  5. Add the desired text then click Save in the upper right corner
