The native backup functions in cPanel are disabled due to the problems they generate. Specifically, under certain conditions (eg. running backup tasks at peak hours for large sites) the server may become inoperative or the load level may increase greatly.

As an alternative, you can back up your account data using the classic tools (FTP, PHPMyAdmin).
