The modification of the owner of a .ro domain is done through a procedure for transferring the right of use for the respective domain:
- Access the HostX.ro website, log in to your account and place a transfer order
- Enter the domain name in the order form and generate a proforma invoice; fill in the billing data and then, as appropriate, the data of the future owner - you can write them to mentions or open a ticket where you can specify the data of the new owner
- The cost of the transfer is 9 euro/year + VAT
- After confirming the payment we will initiate the procedure for transferring the right of use
- Access the website rotld.ro and access from the menu .ro Domains/Transfer Right of Use; Here you can find all the details related to the transfer of a domain name.
- The current owner must authenticate in the ROTLD account and obtain the authorization key for right of use transfer. This key shall be transmitted to us.
- After you have our confirmation that the process has begun, the current owner must complete the following Trade Request Form: https://rotld.ro/transfer-right-of-use/trade-request-form/
- You will be asked for certain information regarding the current owner and the one to whom you will assign the rights; follow the instructions.
